Lawn Care Service Options

Weekly Lawn Care – Year-Round Perfection

Scope of Service

1. Lawn Mowing Service Includes:

  • Mowing of all turf areas with professional-grade equipment
  • String trimming around obstacles, fences, and landscape edges
  • Edging along driveways, sidewalks, and curbs for a clean, polished finish
  • Blowing off hard surfaces (driveways, sidewalks, patios) to remove grass clippings

2. Service Frequency & Expectations:

  • Service is performed weekly during the growing season (weather permitting)
  • Grass height should not exceed 6 inches at the time of service—overgrown lawns may incur an additional charge
  • Clippings are not bagged unless specifically requested (additional fees apply)

3. What is NOT Included (Unless Specified in a Separate Agreement):

  • Fertilization, weed control, or pest treatments
  • Leaf or debris cleanup beyond what is created by mowing
  • Trimming of bushes, shrubs, or trees
  • Any landscaping services outside of standard mowing and edging

                                                        TERMS OF SERVICE

A. MAINTENANCE DIVISION

1. Payment For mowing service, Cardinal Lawn & Maintenance LLC requires a card on file. Your chosen credit or debit card information will be encrypted and stored in a safe and secure electronic payment system, to be used only by our company for the purpose of collecting payment for services performed by our company. Payment for lawn care services will be charged to your card at the end of every week or immediately after service. An electronic receipt will be sent to you via email. If a payment is unable to be processed, service will be put on hold until payment is made. Repeated unsuccessful payments may result in termination of service. A $15 late payment fee will be applied to all outstanding invoices dating more than 15+ days past due.  We reserve the right to send your account to collections if we have not received payment within 90 days and or use this document to seek legal remedies where enforceable for collection purposes. (3.9%+$.30 credit/debit card processing fee applies)

2. Scheduling In a business whose productivity relies upon the weather, scheduling can be difficult at times. Inclement weather may affect scheduling. We try our best to keep scheduling conflicts to a minimum; however, circumstances that are beyond our control may affect completion times/dates. Mowing services are placed on a weekly schedule (6-8 days) and adjusted as needed throughout the season. Please note that if a lawn care crew comes to your property to perform scheduled lawn care service and your lawn is freshly mowed, or access is unavailable to lawn areas without notice to our company, your regular service cost will be assessed to your account.

3. Continuation of Service Once your maintenance service begins, you’ll be placed on our annual schedule for service to resume each spring at our most current rate of service. If a price increase is necessary, we will notify you 30 days ahead of time. Written notice of cancellation is necessary from either party to end service.

4. Picking Up Items Your service will be predictable and reliable. Since you’ll know when we’re coming, we ask that you please pick up all items in your yard and move all vehicles or blockages that may hinder our ability to access the yard, gates, etc. This includes pet feces and dog toys, children’s toys, hoses, gardening equipment, etc. This ensures that our crew can stay efficient and do the best job for you, while avoiding damage to your personal items and our equipment. Repeated occurrences, pet feces on equipment requiring cleaning, damage to our equipment or personal injury to our employees may result in termination of service or a fee of $25 per occurrence.

5. Courtesy and Safety While Cardinal Lawn & Maintenance LLC is on location at your property, you are responsible for keeping all children and pets, as well as other individuals, away from the work area. This is for your safety, as well as our own.

6. Skipping a Mow Our crew leaders are trained professionals. When they arrive on the job site, they analyze the status of your lawn. If it appears that it does not need mowing and would benefit from skipping a week of service, the crew leader will make a note of the skipped service and you will not be charged for that visit. This may happen during drier periods throughout the year. Otherwise, your lawn will be mowed weekly.

7. Requesting to Mow Shorter Please be advised that we mow at a 3 1/4 – 4 inches throughout the year. This guarantees optimal health, quality, and aesthetic of your lawn. Mowing shorter than 3 1/4 – 4 inches in this area of the country may damage grass roots, promote weed growth, and destroy the overall look of your lawn. We take pride in the lawns we mow. We want you to take pride in the health and beauty of your lawn as well.

8. Damages We cannot be held responsible for damage to certain unavoidable areas that could be affected by a string trimmer, including, but not limited to: fencing, mailbox posts, fences, swing sets and play areas, unprotected siding that may be low to the ground, unmarked plants placed outside of regular beds, and other unprotected or unmarked areas. If an item should be directly damaged by our equipment, we will communicate the issue with you as soon as possible; if you notice that an item has been damaged, please notify us within 24 hours per our satisfaction guarantee below. Please note that Cardinal Lawn & Maintenance LLC is fully licensed and insured, and carries one-million-dollar liability insurance.

9. Satisfaction Guarantee Your 100% satisfaction is guaranteed. If for any reason you are not satisfied with the quality of service you have received, please contact us within 24 hours. This contact may be in the form of a phone call or voicemail, e-mail, or service request through our Customer Portal. Please leave your contact information and describe the issue in detail. If you contact us after regular office business hours (Monday through Friday 8:00am to 4:00pm), we will contact you as soon as possible when we open. If an issue should arise after the 24 hour window, it may be due to an issue of nature or other circumstance that could prevent us from correcting the problem at no charge.

10. Lawn Care Cancellation Policy

At Cardinal Lawn & Maintenance LLC, we are committed to providing reliable and consistent lawn care services. To ensure fairness and smooth scheduling, please review the following cancellation policy for both weekly and seasonal services:

Weekly Service Cancellation:

  1. Notice Period: We require a minimum of 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule a weekly lawn service.
  2. Late Cancellations: If a weekly service is canceled less than 24 hours before the scheduled time, the full charge for the service will apply.
  3. No-Show or Unreachable: If we arrive at the scheduled time and cannot access the property (e.g., locked gates, no response), the full charge for the missed service will apply.
  4. Temporary Suspension: If you need to pause or skip a weekly service, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance. Failure to do so may result in full charges for that service.

Seasonal Service Cancellation:

  1. Notice Period: For seasonal lawn care packages, we require a minimum of 7 days' notice to cancel or modify services. This will help us adjust our seasonal schedule accordingly.
  2. Early Termination: If you choose to cancel or terminate a seasonal package (e.g., spring, summer, fall services) before the season is completed, you will still be liable for the full cost of the remaining season as per the agreed-upon terms.
  3. Refunds: Refunds for prepaid services are only available if you cancel at least [14 days] before the scheduled start of the season. After that, services are non-refundable, and the full seasonal cost remains due.
  4. Weather-Related Cancellations: In the event of inclement weather, we may need to reschedule services. You will be notified of any delays or cancellations in advance.

Cardinal Lawn & Maintenance – Fall Leaf Service Program

 


Terms of Service

Service Dates: October 15 – December (or until leaves are complete)

Cardinal Lawn & Maintenance offers a structured leaf program designed to keep your property clean throughout the fall season. Services are provided using a tiered system so every property receives the appropriate level of care based on leaf volume and customer preference.

🍂 1. SERVICE OPTIONS

Tier 1 — Weekly Leaf Control (Lawn Only)

Pricing: Mow Price × 1.35
Best for: properties with light weekly dropping
Includes:

  • Blow off lawn/turf only
     
  • Mulch + bag turf leaves
     
  • Disposal of mower-bag debris
     
  • 10–20 minute visit
     

Does NOT include:

  • Beds, corners, fence lines, patios
     
  • Hauling loose piles or heavy accumulation
     

If leaf volume exceeds weekly limits, service automatically moves to Bi-Weekly Leaf Control or a Cleanup Tier.

Tier 2 — Bi-Weekly Leaf Control (Lawn Only)

Pricing: Weekly Leaf Price × 1.5
Best for: medium to heavy leaf dropping
Includes:

  • Full turf blowing
     
  • Mulch + bag moderate/heavy turf leaves
     
  • Disposal of mower-bag debris
     
  • 20–35 minute visit
     

Requirements:

  • Must begin by October 15 to qualify
     
  • Start dates after October 30 default to Cleanup Tier
     

Typical season: 3–4 visits.

Tier 3 — Detailed Leaf Maintenance (Beds + Corners + Turf)

Weekly Detail: Mow Price × 2.25
Bi-Weekly Detail: Mow Price × 3

Includes:

  • Bed blowouts
     
  • Corners, fence lines, walkways, patios
     
  • Full turf cleanup
     
  • Disposal included (normal maintenance volume)
     
  • 25–45 minute visit
     

Best option for customers wanting a consistently clean property each week or every two weeks.

Tier 4 — Cleanup Services (One-Time Visits)

Front-Only Cleanup

Pricing: Mow Price × 3
Includes basic bed work, corners, turf cleanup, and a mini-load of disposal.

Full Property Cleanup

Pricing: Mow Price × 6 or $250 minimum (whichever is higher)
Includes:

  • Up to 1 hour of 2-man labor
     
  • One full dump load
     
  • Beds, corners, turf, fence lines — complete reset of the property
     

Additional billing:

  • Crew Hourly After First Hour: $85 per man-hour
     
  • Extra Dump Load: $50–$75 each
     

🍁 2. SEASON TIMELINE

  • Oct 15 – Nov 10: Normal Weekly/Bi-Weekly Leaf Control
     
  • Nov 10 – Nov 30: Heavy drop season — upgrades may apply
     
  • Nov 25 – Dec 10: Final cleanups and property resets
     

🍁 3. FINAL VISIT RULES

Customers in Bi-Weekly Detail or Weekly Detail typically receive their final visit at their normal tier price, unless:

  • leaf volume at season end exceeds what bi-weekly detail normally covers
     
  • beds and corners contain excessive buildup
     
  • extra dump loads or additional labor are required
     

Example:

If you're on Bi-Weekly Detail, your final is billed at the Bi-Weekly Detail price unless the remaining leaves are significantly beyond bi-weekly levels, in which case the visit is billed as a Cleanup Tier for fairness and accuracy.
 

This keeps your pricing consistent and protects you from doing an entire full cleanup for a bi-weekly price.

🍁 4. LATE START POLICY

Customers joining after October 30 fall into:

  • Bi-Weekly Leaf Control for turf-only
     
  • Cleanup Tier for medium/heavy properties
     

Weekly pricing is not available for late starts.

🍁 5. DISPOSAL POLICY

  • Weekly/Bi-Weekly Tiers: Disposal limited to mower-bag debris
     
  • Detailed Maintenance: Disposal included for normal weekly/bi-weekly amounts
     
  • Front Cleanup: Mini-load included
     
  • Full Cleanup: One full dump load included
     
  • Extra loads: $50–$75 each
     

🍁 6. PAYMENT TERMS

  • Payment is due upon completion
     
  • A card on file is required for fall services
     
  • 15-day late fees apply
     
  • Service pauses at 30 days unpaid
     

🍁 7. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Gates must be unlocked
     
  • Pets secured
     
  • Property must be accessible
     
  • Customer must select a tier before services begin
     
  • Understand that control tiers (weekly/bi-weekly) are maintenance — not full cleanups
